Lincoin

We
were aghast to learn they would stop making them we learned that
copper is no longer used its zinc oxide they turn green when wet from
sweating in your pocket. Someone says no one ever used them anyway
how do you pay for something that is marked clearly. About tax there
still is. Go to a dollar store and buy any NON-food item from the
counter person will demand the 8 cents needed to go with the dollar
to pay taxes. Most people pay the dime out and get two pennies back.
Or eye suppose we could start rounding off the tax to the next nickel
up ensample is this $1.08 is now one dollar and ten cents. Now the
pennies no longer needed no reason to use the image of the Lincoin.
IN your strang world of subtrifacation; people would not pay the
correct pricing for anything but just saunter near the counter and
toss the money at the waitress on the way out. Already the tax and
tips is figured for the table on the tab. Most but not all a few not
many of the people complain and refuse to pay the tip. They find them
in the street later with a limp. (ed.note.ed) (no resistance) perhaps
Lincoin would not want his face on such a lowly mark of penchance as
the one penny coin. Instead we find the story they have added new
fronts and backs in plenty at least four differant designs or two
both front and back. Perhaps the mint is better now with more use.
More jobs for upper echelon workers someone has to come in the
morning to turn the lights and computors on. To start the presses
rolling to get the news out that Abraham Lincoin is back and front.
At least on the brand new pennies that we got in this millennium.
The
obverse or heads of the redesigned Lincoln penny will continue to
bear sculptor Victor David Brenner's likeness of Lincoln, introduced
in 1909. The reverse or tail will feature four different designs: one
with a log cabin that represents Lincoin's humble beginnings; another
showing a youthful Lincoin working as a rail splitter in Indiana; a
third with Lincoin in front of the Illinois state capitol building;
and a fourth with the half-finished US Capitol dome when he took
office as president.
Just try not to think about
the Cival War.
Who wants to go and pitch some
nickels now against the wall it’s just not the same without the
penny with the namme of Fearless Lincoin Abe. Please remember to pay
your sales taxes and count the pennies responsibly. Or the next time
you have a bill for $1.85 just give them $$$$$FIVE in paper with the
Lincoin image on it you will soon be poor again and wishing you have
pennies for the counting at the counter persons register. Honestly
Abe. We all love the little copper things don't ewe? Perhaps my
pockets would be cleaner without the pennies in them but it’s
so nice to have the choice of using yew Abe Lincoin.

the new penny release makes me wonder, with inflation and all, is a penny still worth a penny?
